Focusing on production FRAISA ConcepTool and FRAISA ReTool ® FRAISA ConcepTool and FRAISA ReTool ® are an important part of our range of services. Regardless of the range of products in the FRAISA catalog, there’s always a need for custom prod- ucts. Our tools from FRAISA ConcepTool address this require- ment with typical FRAISA quality. FRAISA ReTool ® industrial tool reconditioning extends the life cycle of our tools and pro- tects the environment. In the past, we offered both service products at three sites in Europe and one in the US. They share important challenges: Batch sizes are significantly smaller than in series production. The optimization of machine outfitting then becomes an im- portant aspect. For our customers, short cycle time plays an important role with both service products but the details of the production processes differ. Due to fixed rapid delivery times, an immediate response to fluctuating order quantities is decisive with FRAISA ReTool ® . At the same time, the many dif- ferent tools with customer-specific requirements are managed as individual parts in production. On the other hand, the great efficiency of volume cutting is an important success criterion in the production of custom tools with FRAISA ConcepTool but this does involve mastering a wide variation in batch sizes. Concentrating on two sites It was our goal to implement these requirements for our cus- tomers without compromise. For this reason, since 2018 we’ve concentrated our production at our two service-competence centers Sárospatak (for FRAISA ConcepTool) and Willich (for FRAISA ReTool ® ). In Sárospatak, we now produce all the FRAISA Group’s custom tools. These require very flexible production processes and op- timally outfitted processing machines. Our high-performance multi-shift operations and the availability of needed technical knowledge make the manufacture of special products highly efficient. Quick processing of inquiries, offers, and production documents also augments the production process. With 22 years of experience in the manufacture of special tools, the site is able to comprehensively fulfill all requirements. FRAISA ReTool ® reconditioning for all sites of the FRAISA Group worldwide is concentrated in Willich. Automation and customization are successfully combined using digital au- tonomous batch production. With over 30 years of experience, we’re further expanding the site’s specialization. This specialization has brought an increase in both sites’ per- formance. While internally measured figures are improving, our customers’ demand is also increasing significantly. [ 23 ]
