Application knowledge in mold making

In our digital customer seminar, you will receive valuable information and tips on how to optimize your manufacturing processes. Our experts will give you practical insights into innovative machining strategies - comparing the various applications of high-speed cutting (HSC), high-feed cutting (HFC) and high-dynamic cutting (HDC) and combining them in a targeted manner to achieve the best results.

A central component of the seminar is the comparison of different tool concepts. For this purpose, corner radius cutters, ball nose end mills and high feed cutters are used and tested with different numbers of teeth (z2, z4 and z8). Components made from various materials, including tempered plastic mold steel, hot-work tool steel and cold-work tool steel up to 60 HRC, are milled in live demonstrations on the machine.
